Bashar al-Assad is still the president of Syria, the commander in chief of the military and the leader of the Ba'ath party. He is currently 50 years and has continued to ignore the deaths and suffering of innocent people in the country. Bashar neglected the promises of human rights reform as he took control. Bashar has made no changes since they day he assumed control. Nothing positive came from Bashar as majority of the citizens are wanting him to step down as his role of being president. This whole outrage and rebelling has caused Bashar to become involved in a civil war, between terrorists in the country ( ISIS) as well as other citizens who want him to step down as his role of president. So far, Bashar responses towards the rebelling has physically affected innocent people within Syria; as he launched a missile attack in his own country against the people who are rebelling ( ISIS ).
